A Vision for the Future: Hong Kong International Optical Fair to Open in November
The Hong Kong International Optical Fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from November 6 to 8, where cutting-edge design meets the art of vision.
Hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), in partnership with the Hong Kong Optical Manufacturers Association (HKOMA), this year’s exhibition is themed “Seeing is Believing”, bringing over 700 exhibitors from 17 countries to the city to showcase its pioneering eyewear products and technologies, transforming Hong Kong into the epicentre of style and precision.
This year, the fair’s Brand Name Gallery is the crown jewel, set to showcase over 200 renowned global brands. Other specialty zones will feature a broad spectrum of eyewear products, including Smart Eyewear, sustainable eyewear and smart ageing optical products.
The Hong Kong International Optometric Symposium
The 22nd Hong Kong International Optometric Symposium will be held on November 7. Jointly organised by the HKTDC, the Hong Kong Optometric Association and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, this year’s symposium will offer deep dives into the science of sight, with a focus on Myopia control and prevention. Experts across the field will gather to discuss the latest technologies and breakthroughs, making it a must-attend for those who are interested. The Hong Kong International Optical Fair will also offer talks and quick seminars on smart eyewear, sustainability and other advancements within the industry.
The Hong Kong Eyewear Design Competition
In the spirit of innovation, the 24th Hong Kong Eyewear Design ComPetition, themed “Be Bold” this year, invites daring designers to comPete for a chance to have their designs displayed at The Forum Hall. With an aim to showcase Hong Kong’s creativity to the international stage, this comPetition is surely not one to miss.
