When will first medals of 2024 Olympics be won?

The winners of the mixed team 10m air rifle competition will be the opening champions of the 33rd Summer Games.

The mixed team 10m air rifle medal event is due to take place at 5am ET/2am PT.

As mentioned below, the final is expected to finish sometime just before 6am ET/3am PT.

Opening ceremony kicks off Paris Games

While some events actually began on Wednesday and Thursday, the curtain wasn't officially raised on the Paris Olympics until yesterday, when the opening ceremony was held in a rainy French capital.

Thousands of athletes paraded along the river Seine - before the ceremony reached its climax at the Jardins du Trocadéro. There was a special performance by legendary singer Céline Dion, who serenaded spectators from the Eiffel Tower.
