Stephan Jaeger, a 34-year-old German Golfer from Munich, leads the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego, California, scoring 11-under 205 after 54 holes. Although he shot 1-over 73 in the third round on Friday, he still maintains his lead heading into the final round. Stephan played collegiate Golf at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and turned professional in 2012. He has won six tournaments on the second-tier Korn Ferry Tour in the United States.

Both Europeans, Matthieu Pavon and Nicolai Hojgaard, are tied for second place at 10-under. Thomas Detry is at 9-under, while a large group is at 8-under. None of the top nine players on the leaderboard have won on the PGA Tour, but in the last two years, the winner has come from five shots behind on the final day.

The total prize money for the tournament is $9 million, and the winner will receive $1.62 million along with 500 FedEx Cup points.
