Good morning, Pickswise Nation. The week in Major League Baseball continues with a full 15-Game schedule on Wednesday. With gridiron action at both the pro and college levels kicking off again on Thursday, we can start looking ahead toward more Football. It’s another big day in the world of Sports, so let’s get right to it and make your next bet better with Wise n’ Shine!

About Last Night

Yankees sweep DH against Red Sox
It’s too little, too late for the Yankees, but they will always take a doubleheader sweep of the rival Red Sox regardless of the circumstances. New York won by scores of 3-2 and 4-1 on Tuesday, so the teams are now tied in the standings at 73-72. Meanwhile, it was a successful night for Pickswise with a 2-0 sweep of YRFI/NRFI bets and a 1-0 record on MLB player props to extend us to an 11-3 run in that bet type!

Today’s Slate

A full 15 games in Major League Baseball
As is the case with almost every Wednesday, we have a full schedule of 15 MLB games on our hands. It includes the continuation of another Red Sox vs Yankees series in addition to the finale of the Padres and Dodgers’ 3-game set. Meanwhile, Atlanta has a chance to clinch the National League East title in Philadelphia. Don’t miss our MLB predictions.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays ML over Minnesota Twins (-125)
7:20 pm ET, Bally Sports

The Rays and Twins finish a series on Wednesday afternoon after splitting the first two Games. Dallas Keuche has made 6 appearances for the Twins, and somehow they have won 5 of those. Keuchel hasn’t really been all that good in most of them — his outings are short, and he gets knocked around quite a bit. Yet the Twins will keep running him out there, and they keep winning his starts. I imagine the Rays should do quite a bit of damage in the early innings and chase Keuchel from the Game. Both of these bullpens are fantastic, so whoever comes out of those early innings with a lead is likely to keep it and that should be the Rays. Check out our full Rays vs Twins predictions.

This game can be bet over at PointsBet, where new customers can place a single $50+ cash bet and get a $150 promotional credit to use exclusively at Fanatics.com. Click here to find out more and lock in this great sign-up offer.
