Jaime Jaquez has been ruled out of Game 5 of the Miami Heat’s NBA Playoffs series against the Boston Celtics, after suffering a hip injury in the Floridians’ 102-88 loss to the Celtics on Monday.

Heat’s Jaquez out after Game 4 injury

Jaquez, who has started all of the Heat’s postseason clashes so far, left this week’s Game 4 defeat after picking up the problem in the second half at Kaseya Center.

Miami have confirmed that the 23-year-old rookie sustained a right hip flexor strain and has not Travelled to Boston for what is a potentially series-ending Game 5 at TD Garden.

Who else is injured for the Heat?

Jimmy Butler remains unavailable to head coach Erik Spoelstra, after he suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee two weeks ago.

Terry Rozier is also an ongoing injury absentee, as he recovers from a neck injury. The guard has not featured for the Heat since the start of April.

Meanwhile, Josh Richardson is a longer-term casualty, having undergone shoulder surgery in March.
