Basketball fans are eagerly looking forward to the next all-star game in Indianapolis, which is set to return to its traditional format of the West vs. East clash. The game is expected to showcase some of the top players in the league, and while the starting five players have not been announced yet, the first round of voting has given us an idea of who might make the cut.

The voting results reveal that Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star player from the Milwaukee Bucks, has received the highest number of votes so far with 2,171,812. He is followed closely by LeBron James, who has received over two million votes (2,008,645) and is known for his impressive skills on the court.

Starting line-ups

West

Based on the current votes, Nikola Jokić, the talented center for the Denver Nuggets, ranks in the high sixth place of all NBA players. He also stands at an impressive third position in the Western Conference and third among tall players with a total of 1,636,041 votes. This means that he should be a starter in the upcoming NBA All-Star Game. Along with the Nuggets’ star center, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers will also be a starter. The other starters include Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns (1,807,394 votes), Luka Dončić of the Dallas Mavericks (1,452,733), and Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors (1,394,980).

East

As for the Eastern Conference, the starters will include Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers (1,844,025), Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics (1,765,919), Tyrese Halliburton of the Sacramento Kings (1,380,795), and Damien Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks (955,751). These players have received the most votes from fans and will represent their respective conferences in the upcoming All-Star Game.
