MLB pick today: Detroit Tigers ML over Kansas City Royals (-120), 1:10 pm ET
Matthew Boyd will start for the Tigers this afternoon and has a 5.60 ERA through 13 starts with a 7-6 record. The Royals will counter with Brady Singer, who has a 6.33 ERA through 14 starts with a 4-6 record.
The Tigers are a slight favorite for a good reason since they have won 7 of the last 10 meetings between these teams. They haven’t been playing as badly recently, winning 4 of their last 6 Games. The Royals, on the other hand, have only won 2 of their last 10 Games, are 9-25 on the road, and 16-43 as an underdog. Given the Royals’ struggles, backing the Tigers will be our play.

MLB pick today: Seattle Mariners ML over New York Yankees (-174), 7:05 pm ET
Starting for the Mariners tonight will be right-handed pitcher Luis Castillo. He has pitched well this season, posting a 2.73 ERA. He also sits in good company in regards to his percentiles as well, ranking in the 76th percentile for xBA, 87th percentile for K% & 71st percentile for BB%.
The Yankees will counter with Jhony Brito, who has struggled this season, posting an ERA of 5.58. He also ranks in the lower end for almost every trackable percentile. Because Brito has had a tough time this season, backing the Mariners will be our play.

MLS pick today: Philadelphia Union ML over Orlando City SC (+165), 7:30 pm ET
Only 2 MLS teams have more wins than the Philadelphia Union this season, and 7 of their victories have come in the last 9 Games. Orlando lost 3-1 to New England this past weekend, therefore we will back the Union to bounce back tonight after an unlucky loss to San Jose.
Be sure to check out our full Philadelphia Union vs Orlando City SC predictions
MLS pick today: FC Cincinnati ML over Toronto FC (-160), 7:30 pm ET
Cincinnati has a great opportunity to record a 13th win in 18 MLS games this season to stay on top of the Eastern Conference standings. Toronto has been terrible on the road, recording just 4 points from a possible 24 on the road this season. Given their struggles on the road, backing FC Cincinnati to win will be our play.
