Watch the crime Ronaldo committed in Iran to receive 99 lashes
Al Nassr’s star player Cristiano Ronaldo was in Iran ahead of the match with Persepolis for the Asian Champions League in September. While there, he met with Iranian artist Fatima, who is a big fan of the Portuguese national. When they met, Ronaldo gave her a hug and a kiss on the top of her head. This was a violation of Iran’s strict laws, which state that you cannot kiss someone outside of your own marriage as it’s considered adultery. He will reportedly be punished with 99 lashes if he ever returns to Iran in the future.
