Video: Paolo Nutini Shows Love for Celtic While in Ireland
Paisley-born Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini delivered an expletive-laden show of support for Celtic during his recent outing at an Irish pub.
The artist is in Ireland as he prepares for a headline show in Limerick on Saturday night. He’ll be supported by Brogeal, a Scottish band likened to the Pogues in style and fervour, who are fellow Celtic fans and end every set with The Lonesome Boatman. They were at TRNSMT on Friday evening.
Nutini visited a local tavern where he was seen unwinding among punters. As he departed through a narrow archway leading from the bar, the singer couldn’t help but vocalise his backing for his team.

Captured in a moment that is doing the rounds on TikTok, the scene shows Nutini being cheered on by the pub’s staff, as he poured a pint, who called out “Bye Paolo” as he was leaving the bar. Nutini popped his head back through the passage and exclaimed, “Mon the f***ing Hoops.”
