No place to Trick or Treat? How about stopping at a few Truck or Treats? This idea has taken off in recent years and it also has become a great way to enjoy Halloween on more than one night.

The list of events I have shared below is just the tip of the iceberg. Chances are your community is having a Truck or Treat too. Check with your town, your local fire department, or your child's school. Trunk-or-treat events are fun for parents and kids.

What is a Trunk or Treat

Most of them work as part trick or treating part contest for the spookiest car. There can be a fee and you may need to supply candy. Make sure you know what to expect before you head out because a few require you to register that way they know how many trick-or-treaters to expect.

Basically, people gather in a spot large enough to park a lot of cars. They decorate the inside of the trunk for Halloween and as the kids come by to see the scary trucks they also trick or treat. It is kind of a car show for trick-or-treaters
