Travis Kelce sports understated tan suit for White House visit with Kansas City Chiefs

A good suit never goes out of “Style.”

Travis Kelce joined his Kansas City Chiefs teaMMAtes on Friday as the Super Bowl LVIII winners headed to Washington, DC for a celebratory meeting with President Biden at the White House.

The tight end, 34, may be known for his high-fashion and attention-grabbing outfits, but he went for a much more pared-down style to meet with Biden, sporting a plain tan suit, white shirt and black tie.

He accessorized with pizazz, wearing pointed-toe boots and black sunglasses with the double-breasted suit. The Footballer even appeared to add a Secret Service lapel pin, which could have been gifted to him by one of the officers during the event.

Fans, of course, couldn’t help but mention girlfriend Taylor Swift, with one remarking that his understated color palette was the same as the pop star’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” tweeting, “his outfit is giving secretary of the TTPD.”

Kelce joked around with Biden, who called him up to the podium, “My fellow Americans, it’s nice to see you all yet again,” he began. “I’m not gonna lie, President Biden, they told me if I came up here I’d get tased, so I’m gonna go back to my spot, alright?”

The “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” host was demur following the team’s 2023 visit where he grabbed the microphone unprompted from Biden. However, he was shut down by quarterback Patrick Mahomes during the viral moment.

“Pat knew that I was in over my head … Shout-out to Pat for keeping me from embarrassing myself at that podium in front of the world,” Travis admitted on a subsequent episode of his “New Heights” podcast, where brother Jason actually suggested he begin another attempt with “my fellow Americans.”

Not only did he have a viral moment at the 2023 event, but he also had a bolder outfit. The Pro-Bowler chose a vibrant red suit with a black T-shirt and black and white Nike sneakers before going more formal this year.

Travis — who is set to star in Ryan Murphy’s new TV show, “Grotesquerie” and is actively looking to get into the movie Business — is certainly known for his colorful style of dress, despite the pared back political look.

His pre-Game looks have gotten fans talking — and have been compared to the Cheesecake Factory logo, velvet curtains and even one of Swift’s album covers.

Plus, the distressed jeans he wore to sit courtside at a recent Dallas Mavericks Game sparked jokes about Swift’s cat tearing through the denim, with Jason joining in at his brother’s expense. Even mom Donna Kelce has gotten in on the laughs, calling her younger son a “fashionista” and a “show off” in an interview with Martha Stewart earlier this year.
