‘The View’ co-host Ana Navarro calls out Keith McNally’s ‘counterintuitive’ Lauren Sánchez attack
Ana Navarro pointed out the irony of Keith McNally posting a slideshow of photos of Lauren Sánchez via his Instagram just to insult her looks.
“If you find Lauren Sanchez ‘revolting’, why spend the time and go through the trouble of looking up and posting 8 pictures of her?” the “View” co-host, 52, wrote in the comments section the restaurateur’s post Tuesday. “Seems rather counterintuitive.”
Navarro, who recently went through a weight-loss transformation, then added of Sánchez, “I think if I had her body and money, I’d strut around in a fig-leaf and two [coconut] shells and wouldn’t give a damn what anybody thought.”
The political talking head’s fiery response comes after McNally, 72, faced backlash for attacking the helicopter pilot, 54, in the caption of his post Monday.
“Does anybody else find Jeff Bezos’ New wife [sic] – Lauren Sanchez – ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING?” the Balthazar owner wrote.
“What an ugly and F–king SMUG – LOOKING couple they make. Is this what having 1000 Billion dollars does to people?”
Aside from Navarro, Chrissy Teigen was one of the first stars to come to Sánchez’s defense.
The cookbook author, 38, wrote, “She’s actually incredibly dynamic, accomplished and kind, and everyone who knows her would say the same.”

Fans also chimed in, with one writing underneath the post, “Lauren Sánchez is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and former news anchor. She’s also a licensed pilot. A woman’s appearance is important but it doesn’t make Lauren any less of a person.”
Another added, “There are literally a billion other things we could criticise about billionaires – can we leave the sexist remarks about women’s bodies out of it?”
Sánchez, who got engaged to Bezos in May 2023, then appeared to address McNally’s comments herself by sharing uplifting quotes online.
One post via her Instagram Story read, “People will love you. People will hate you. And none of it will have anything to do with you.”
The former Entertainment journalist then shared a quote from fashion designer Rachel Zoe that said, “Lead with kindness, cheer for those you love. Just honestly wish everyone the best.”
McNally has a long history of ruffling feathers with his no-filter attitude.
In the past, he has called out celebrity diners for their allegedly rude behavior, vigorously defended accused sexual abuser Woody Allen and doubled down on inflammatory remarks about attacks on Israel.
McNally has yet to address the backlash he has received for his comments about Sánchez, instead sharing another post promoting his forthcoming memoir, which is aptly titled “I Regret Almost Everything.”
