Keoghan’s latest film Saltburn, was released in November 2023, but Carpenter caught an early screening in September where she posed with a fan. However, it is unclear if they met.

Speculations were rife that Keoghan would bring Carpenter as his plus one to the 2024 Golden Globes on 8 January 2024 where he was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama for Saltburn.

The Sun reported that the Dubliner had communicated about his relationship to Kierans. “Barry thought it was best that Alyson was the first to know about him and Sabrina so she wouldn’t be hurt if she found out on social media,” stated the publication.

“He is spending a lot of time in the States and has invited Sabrina to be his ‘plus one’ at the Golden Globes. Alyson and Barry still communicate for the sake of Brando, and he has been open about his new relationship,” it further added.

But that did not happen, and he walked the carPet alone. However, the two went on an art gallery date in Los Angeles on 13 January.

4 February 2024: Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter’s first public appearance together

Stars had descended at the W Magazine, Mark Ronson and Gucci’s Grammys after party at Bar Marmont in LA. It was here that Keoghan and Carpenter made their first public appearance together, though they did not attend the music award ceremony.

They walked the carPet on their own and soon caught up during the event, but when W Magazine photographed them, Keoghan and Carpenter covered their faces.

ENews reported that on 9 February, the two had dinner at LA’s Nobu and headed to Hotel Bel-Air. The following day, they exited the hotel in their car and on 11 February were spotted outside the “On My Way” singer’s house in Hollywood Hills.

Despite the stars not releasing any official comments or confirmation about the same, it is quite evident that they are dating. Dressed to impress, they go for dinner at Los Angeles’ Delilah, a favourite among celebrities. Later, they took their date to Ysabel, a posh cocktail lounge.

Carpenter sported an all-black ensemble — a sleeveless minidress from Reformation, a leather jacket and boots from the same brand. Keoghan kept it casual for the date night with a white T-shirt, tan trousers, a bright red bomber jacket and white sneakers. He finished it with a single silver chain around the neck.
