Taylor Swift ‘likes’ post showing ex Joe Alwyn as dead ‘Hunger Games’ tribute
Let’s hope he volunteered as tribute.
Taylor Swift acknowledged ripping her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn to shreds on her new “Tortured Poets Department” album by “liking” a savage “Hunger Games” meme featuring the actor.
Betches shared a slideshow of Swift-themed photos Friday, including a post from X with the caption, “every time we get a new lyric the hunger Games cannon goes off.”
The message was accompanied by a Photoshopped image of Alwyn’s face being projected into the sky with the label “District BS” underneath him in the same style that the dystopian book series by Suzanne Collins would signify when a Hunger Games competitor had died.
Swift responded by “liking” the post, and her devoted fans quickly sounded off in the comments section.
“Taylor liked this post and I’m here for it 😅,” one Swiftie wrote.
“I CANT BELIEVE TAYLOR LIKED THIS… SHE IS COMING FOR JOE,” a second person exclaimed.
“Taylor liking this is crazy,” a third chimed in.
“The hunger Games canon has launched me into orbit 💀💀💀,” a netizen wrote.
“Taylor liking actually has me so weak HAHAHAHA,” another added.
However, other fans noted that Swift may not have swiped through the entire post to see the book reference and could have been replying to the first slide.
“Decoding Taylor Swift easter eggs feels like working 2 jobs, training for a marathon, dating a man who is emotionally unstable, and clocking in the overnight shift at the FBI all at one,” Betches wrote in its first slide.

Several songs on Swift’s much-anticipated 11th studio album center on her six-year relationship with Alwyn, which ended in 2023.
In her song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” Swift sings the lyrics, “I don’t even want you back / I just want to know / If rusting my sparkling summer was the goal.”
“I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” “LOML” and “So Long, London” also appear to be about the British movie star.
Swift’s lyrics insinuate how miserable she was throughout their romance and how Alwyn, 33, went back on his plans to have a future with her.

“You s–t-talked me under the table / Talkin’ rings and talkin’ cradles / I wish I could unrecall how we almost had it all,” she sings.
Swift also addresses her short-lived romance with Matty Healy on the album as well as her current relationship with boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The “Cruel Summer” singer rebounded from her breakup from Alwyn with the 1975 frontman in a month-long fling last March before falling for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in summer 2023.
