Somi Ali invites Lawrence Bishnoi for Zoom call from jail

Somi Ali, former girlfriend of Salman Khan and a women's rights activist, has invited Lawrence Bishnoi to a Zoom call.

The America-based activist turned to social media to initiate a conversation with Bishnoi, who has threatened to kill the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently imprisoned in Sabarmati Jail.

Somi invited him for a chat, stating, "You are even having Zoom calls from jail."

On Thursday, Somi shared a photo of Lawrence Bishnoi on her Instagram account, captioning it with a direct message:

"Namaste, Lawrence bhai! I've heard and seen that you are making Zoom calls from jail, so I have a few things to discuss with you. Please let me know how this is possible?"

At the end of her message, Somi addressed Lawrence directly, saying, "Please give me your mobile number; it would be a great favor. Thank you."

Somi Ali has previously reached out to the Bishnoi community regarding Salman Khan. In an interview, she stated, "Taking someone's life is unacceptable, whether it's Salman or an ordinary person. If you seek justice, you should approach the courts. I urge the Bishnoi community that harming Salman Khan will not bring back the blackbuck. If he has made a mistake, I apologize on his behalf."

Somi Ali moved to the US in 1999 after her relationship with Salman Khan ended and has been residing there ever since.
