Saturday EPL & FA Cup parlay 3/16, +821 odds: Tottenham trumps Fulham | Pickswise

We have a fascinating lineup of English soccer action this weekend, with matchups taking place across the English Premier League as well as the FA Cup quarterfinals. The big Game of the day sees Manchester City host Newcastle in the FA Cup, while Fulham take on Tottenham in a London derby. Nottingham Forest ML over Luton (+145), 11:00 am ET, Saturday

Luton Town suffered a crushing blow at Bournemouth on Wednesday night and it is probably going to be difficult for the horrified Hatters to recover in time for hosting Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Luton went 3-0 up at Bournemouth, seemingly set for a morale-boosting 3 points in their quest for Premier League safety, but the second half was a disaster for the visitors. Bournemouth ran all over Luton and fought back for a 4-3 triumph. Luton are in the relegation zone, with Forest directly above them. The rigors of the Bournemouth trip have provided Forest with a wonderful opportunity to take 3 points from Kenilworth Road and put a 6-point gap between themselves and Luton.

Wolves ML over Coventry (-160), 11:00 am ET, Saturday

EPL class should tell when Wolves host Coventry in the FA Cup on Saturday. Wolves have been mixing it with the best teams in England and holding their own, so Championship side Coventry should be straightforward opponents. Wolves have won their last 3 home Games – against Sheffield United, Brighton and Fulham – and they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the start of last month. Coventry are just outside of the Championship playoff places. The lowest-ranked team left in the FA Cup will likely find their fairytale ends at the quarterfinal stage.

Manchester City ML over Newcastle (-430), 1:30 pm ET, Saturday

The English Premier League champions have FA Cup focus on Saturday – and Manchester City can be expected to be ruthless in their pursuit of the treble (winning the EPL, FA Cup and Champions League). Victory over Newcastle will put City in the FA Cup semifinals, with Premier League and Champions League aspirations still extremely high as well. City are building up a head of steam and there seems every chance of Pep Guardiola’s side completing a treble. Newcastle are enduring a hugely disappointing campaign, languishing mid-table in the EPL, and the Magpies likely lack the defensive solidity to contain a confident and fearless City.

Tottenham ML over Fulham (+100), 1:30 pm ET, Saturday

The final EPL fixture of Saturday comes from Craven Cottage, where Tottenham may edge a close London derby. Spurs have enjoyed a positive March, with a 3-1 success over Crystal Palace followed by a 4-0 victory at Aston Villa. That big win at Villa Park will give Tottenham great hope that they can finish this season strongly. If Spurs win at Fulham, they will leapfrog Villa into 4th place in the Premier League standings. Tottenham were lethal in attack at Villa and more of the same on Saturday should be too much for their hosts to handle.
