In the serene landscapes of Elephant Nature Park, nestled in the Mae Taeng District of Chiang Mai Province, Northern Thailand, a heartwarming scene unfolds as a baby elephant breaks the stereotype of Animals dreading bath time.

Captured on camera, this delightful elephant calf exudes pure joy as it gleefully frolics in a tub, reveling in the simple pleasure of getting wet.

Watch the video at the end.

The footage captures the elephant’s enthusiasm as it dives headfirst into the water-filled tub, rolling playfully onto its side.

With a gentle lean against the tub’s edge, the elephant kicks its front legs, creating a cascade of water that splashes onto the ground.

With all four legs submerged, the baby elephant stands tall in the tub, fully immersing its trunk, embracing the moment’s excitement.

Despite the snug fit in the small tub, the calf abandons sitting and opts for a playful spinning motion, intensifying the water splashes and exhilaration.

Undeterred by the water play, the calf attempts to sit once more, using its tiny trunk to suck up water and joyfully spraying it in all directions.

However, the video takes an unexpected turn when the baby elephant’s mother approaches the bathtub and, with her trunk, unexpectedly hauls it away while her little one is still inside.

The sudden movement causes the calf to topple over, but the clever youngster remains undeterred, swiftly moving beneath its mother’s belly to retrieve its beloved tub.

This endearing moment adds to a series of playful bath encounters with baby elephants captured on camera.

Earlier this year, another elephant calf was filmed enjoying a bath at The Royal Elephant Kraal and Village in Ayutthaya, Thailand, where a Danish tourist attempted to hose it down.
