The Cleveland Browns and the New Orleans Saints meet Sunday in NFL action from Caesars Superdome. Here’s a New Orleans Saints vs Cleveland Browns prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Saints vs Browns pick.

Cleveland Browns Betting Preview

The Browns lost to the Cowboys in their opener, then beat the Jaguars in Game two. Cleveland would hit a losing streak versus the Giants, Raiders, CoMMAnders, Eagles and Bengals before their next win over the Ravens 29-24 on October 27.

Back on November 3 in their last appearance versus the Chargers, the Browns fell back into the loss column. Cleveland was down 20-3 by halftime and limped to a 27-10 defeat. Jameis Winston finished with 235 yards, one TD and three picks. Cedric Tillman caught the score among his six grabs for 75 yards.

New Orleans Saints Betting Preview

Over on the New Orleans side, they won their first pair versus the Panthers and Cowboys. The Saints hit a rough losing streak after that however, falling to the Eagles, Falcons, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Broncos, Chargers and Panthers.

New Orleans finally stopped the bleeding last weekend with a win over the Falcons. The Saints scored 17 points in the second quarter and held on for the win 20-17. Derek Carr threw for 269 yards and two scores. Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught both TDs among three grabs for 109 yards.

New Orleans Saints vs Cleveland Browns Prediction

I’ll stay with the Saints. There’s not a whole lot to like about this matchup, but it should be a comPetitive Game at least. The Saints notched 365 total yards (269 passing) in their win over Atlanta, but mustered just 14 first downs, 5-of-13 on third-down tries and 24:53 in time of possession. The defense did the rest, bending but not breaking on 468 yards (287 passing) and a 5-of-14 rate allowed on third-down conversions.

As for the Browns, they put up 292 yards, 3.8 yards per play, 21 first downs and three interceptions on offense in their 17-point loss to the Chargers on November 3. The 10 points were the lowest total so far this year, and Cleveland has had plenty of time to think about it. I like the Browns to look better on Sunday but I’m still leaning toward a Saints home cover/win.
