Life comes at you fast, as the Colorado Buffaloes found out the hard way. After being the talk of the college Football world thanks to a surprising 3-0 start, head coach Deion Sanders’ squad has lost 6 of its last 7 Games and 4 in a row. The Buffaloes’ bowl hopes are suddenly on life support, needing to win their last 2 Games – including on Friday night against the Washington State Cougars. Washington State is in basically the exact same spot, as it opened the season 4-0 and has since suffered 6 consecutive defeats.

Here is my Same Game Parlay for the festivities, which will be televised starting at 10:30 pm ET on FS1. Also be sure to check out our full Colorado vs Washington State predictions.

Colorado ML (+168)

Lincoln Victor Over 90.5 receiving yards (-115)

Lincoln Victor to score a touchdown (-210)

Parlay odds: +604

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. Taking advantage of that is the entire plan here, as a big day for Washington State receiver Lincoln Victor obviously doesn’t go hand in hand with a Colorado victory. But even if Victor does find some success, there is no reason why the Buffaloes can’t take care of Business. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Colorado ML (+168)

This is a bottom-of-the-barrel matchup in the Pac-12, but it involves Colorado and as such there will be plenty of eyes on it – albeit not like it was for Sanders’ team earlier in the season. And despite the mediocrity of the 2 teams, the stakes remain high since whoever wins will remain in bowl contention. I think it will be Colorado, even though it is on the road for this one. The Buffaloes have actually been relatively comPetitive of late despite taking losses left and right, covering the spread in 3 consecutive contests. Washington state, on the other hand, is completely falling apart. During this 6-Game skid, the Cougars have lost to the 4 worst teams in the conference other than themselves and Colorado. They also got blown out by Arizona 44-6. Wazzu has given up at least 38 points in 4 of its last 5 outings. My guess is that Shedeur Sanders will power the visitors’ offense to enough points to win a high-scoring shootout.

Lincoln Victor Over 90.5 receiving yards (-115)

Victor has already amassed 73 receptions for 723 yards this season. The senior from Maui has eclipsed the 100-yard mark on 3 occasions, including twice going over 160 yards. He now faces a favorable matchup with Colorado – and “favorable” is an understatement. The Buffaloes are third to last in the nation in passing defense, allowing 292.0 yards per game through the air on 7.8 yards per attempt. This actually doesn’t conflict too much with a pick of Colorado on the money line, because if Washington State is playing from behind then it will be more inclined to air it out early and often while feeding Victor the rock.

Lincoln Victor to score a touchdown (-210)

As mentioned above, Colorado is terrible against the pass (and its defense is simply bad all around). In addition to all of the yards the Buffs are surrendering, they have given up 26 passing touchdowns. That is the third most in the entire country; only Stanford and USC have allowed more. Victor has scored a modest 4 TDs so far this year, but he probably won’t have any trouble finding the endzone against the Buffaloes.
