The NBA Cup Games were a hit last night, but we unfortunately split our plays, as Anthony Edwards finished 1 point shy. Let’s look ahead to Wednesday, where we have an 11-Game slate, a bunch of teams on back-to-backs, and a ton of injury news in question. Let’s dive into our best NBA player prop bets for Wednesday, November 13. You can also find out our NBA picks for all the big matchups today and throughout the entire 2024-25 season.

Jordan Poole (WSH) Under 29.5 pts/rebs/asts (-115)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

If you’re on FanDuel and looking for this line, it’s gone. They’ve already moved Jordan Poole’s points + rebounds + assists to 27.5. BetMGM and ESPN are still at 29.5, but I’d also play the under of 28.5 across other books if that’s your only option.

I’m a big fan of what the Washington Wizards are doing. This is the brightest the team has looked in years. Bilal Coulibaly has made considerable strides in year 2, and rookies Alex Sarr, Carlton Carrington, and Kyshawn George all look to be promising pieces for the future. But then you have Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma returned from injury last Game and took the most field goal attempts, while Poole took the 2nd most field goal attempts and had 8 turnovers. Once again, the Wizards lost by 15 points, making it the 5th loss in a row, all by double digits.

Tonight, against the San Antonio Spurs as 9.5-point underdogs, I have Poole struggling and seeing his usage tick down a tad. With Kuzma back in the lineup and the young guys needing to eat, I have Poole under 29.5 points/rebounds/assists as our top play of the slate.

Mike Conley (MIN) Under 16.5 pts/rebs/asts (-110)

Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing.

When researching slates, I’m looking at the injury report and what teams are on back-to-backs. The Minnesota Timberwolves were embarrassed last night against the Portland Trail Blazers – The same team they’ll see tonight. A back-to-back means we could see a limited Mike Conley, who is in his 18th year at 37 years old.

Conley has taken a step back after a solid 2nd season in Minnesota. He’s shooting 31% from the field, while his assist numbers are also down. The Timberwolves have much younger and explosive guards to go to, like Anthony Edwards, Donte DiVincenzo, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker – All of who I expect to eat into Conley’s minutes and usage who have stayed under this line in 7/11 games this season, and both times on the 2nd leg of a back-to-back.
