This week, the PGA Tour Tour presents golf fans with the 2024 RSM Classic. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the Golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a Golfer’s success at this week’s 2024 RSM Classic.

Where will the 2024 RSM Classic be played?

The 2024 RSM Classic is unique in that the tournament is played on two different Golf courses over a four day period. the Plantation and Seaside courses at the Sea Island Golf Resort in Georgia.

Ludvig Aberg won the 2023 RSM Classic with a cumulative four round score of 29 under par.

Will the RSM Classic have a traditional cut after two rounds?

The 2024 RSM Classic will have a field of 132 comPetitors to start the tournament on Thursday. This event will have a cut after the completion of the first two rounds. The top 65 Golfers and ties will make the cut.

2024 RSM Classic Draftkings Picks

Ben Griffin $9,300

The talented American arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of three consecutive top 24 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an 11th-place result at the 2024 Black Desert Championship six weeks ago.

Ben Griffin is currently ranked fifth in overall scoring average (69.10), first in total birdies made (459), fourth in par four scoring average (3.96), 12th in bogey avoidance (12.61%), and 17th in scrambling (64.42%) on the PGA Tour.

It is noteworthy that Ben Griffin has posted a decent result at this week’s PGA Tour event in the past. More specifically, Griffin finished eighth at the 2023 RSM Classic.

Greyson Sigg $7,300

Greyson Sigg has amassed four top 23 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a ninth-place result at last week’s 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Sigg also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Greyson Sigg is currently ranked eighth in GIR (greens in regulation-71.70%), 21st in strokes gained approach (0.434), third in bogey avoidance (12.04%), 19th in proximity to the hole (35’2), and ninth in scrambling (65.25%) on the PGA Tour.

Similar to Ben Griffin, Greyson Sigg has posted good results at this week’s tournament previously. Sigg finished 15th at the 2022 RSM Classic.

Tyler Duncan $6,600

Tyler Duncan has accumulated two top 29 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a 25th place result at the 2024 Black Desert Championship last month.

Due to Tyler Duncan’s quality finish at the 2024 Black Desert Championship I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to see how Duncan fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of comPetitive play at the 2024 Black Desert Championship, in relation to the field, Tyler Duncan ranked 16th in driving accuracy (89.3%), 19th in putting average (1.706), and second in total eagles made (2).
