We have all 30 teams in action on Tuesday, starting in Pittsburgh with the 9-2 Pirates and ending in San Diego with a pair of 6-win teams in the Padres and Cubs. I’ve narrowed down today’s slate and constructed a 3-leg parlay consisting of one underdog to win outright, alongside a pair of favorites on the run line. This parlay pays out at +1023 odds on Fanduel Sportsbook. Let’s take a closer look at this MLB parlay and be sure to read the entire article for my reasoning and analysis for each individual leg. Also, don’t forget to check out our MLB predictions today’s big Game.

Brewers ML (+118)

Phillies -1.5 (+128)

Astros -1.5 (+126)

MLB parlay odds: +1023

Milwaukee Brewers over Cincinnati Reds (+118)

The Milwaukee Brewers look to even up the series this evening after a wild 10-8 Game at Great American Ball Park yesterday. Today’s starting pitching matchup is between a pair of newly acquired right-handers in Joe Ross of the Brewers and Frankie Montas of the Reds. Montas has been nearly flawless through his first 2 outings thus far, allowing just 1 earned run across 11.2 innings, but regression is soon to come. The Brewers are hitting .275 as a team through the first 10 Games of the season and Cincinnati’s bullpen has been a tad disappointing to begin the year. The Reds’ bullpen is posting a 5.20 FIP and 4.79 ERA, leaving the door open for Milwaukee to score some late runs. The Reds may have a slight edge in the starting pitching department, but it’s difficult to trust the bullpen just yet.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 over St. Louis Cardinals (+128)

It took the Phillies extra innings last night to secure the victory over the St. Louis Cardinals, but they fought their way back to .500. I like their chances here again tonight as they’ll send their ace out to the mound in Zack Wheeler. Through 2 starts, Wheeler has picked up exactly where he left off a season ago. Wheeler has given up just 1 earned run through 12 innings and pitched 6 scoreless innings against the always dangerous Atlanta Braves. The Cardinals counter with newly acquired Sonny Gray, who will make his St. Louis debut after coming off the injured list. Gray had a career year with the Twins in 2023, posting a 2.79 ERA across 32 starts, but tonight will be just his first start of the year since a hamstring injury. I trust Wheeler and the Phillies’ bullpen in this spot.

Houston Astros -1.5 over Kansas City Royals (+126)

After a discouraging 2-7 start to their season, the Houston Astros flexed their muscle in the final 2 games of their 4-game set with the Texas Rangers and wound up splitting the series. Last night the Astros plated 10 runs on 11 hits while Yordan Alvarez slugged his second home run in as many nights. The Astros will now travel to Kansas City to take on the red-hot Royals who are on a current 4-game win streak of their own. While the Royals should be proud of their start, their 4-game win streak consists of 4 wins over the 1-9 Chicago White Sox. The Astros are most certainly a step up in competition and starting pitcher Cristian Javier is off to a stellar start. Through a pair of starts against the Yankees and Blue Jays, Javier has yet to allow a run. Royals’ starting pitcher Cole Ragans has performed well himself, allowing 2 earned runs across 6 innings against the Twins, followed up by 6.1 scoreless innings against the Orioles. However, the Astros have been notorious for crushing left-handed pitching, and Ragans is in store for a tough test.
