The week in Major League Baseball continues with a full 15-Game slate on Tuesday. There are huge matchups between postseason contenders all over the place. It includes Diamondbacks vs Guardians, Padres vs Pirates, Brewers vs Braves, Astros vs Rangers, Red Sox vs Royals and Phillies vs Dodgers. Let’s dive into today’s MLB parlay picks, while you can also find out our MLB picks for the big matchups on Tuesday, August 5.

Braves -1.5 (+150)

Mets -1.5 (+100)

Athletics -1.5 (+105)

MLB parlay odds: +925

For this MLB parlay, I am going with 3 favorites on the run line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 over Milwaukee Brewers (+150)

Bryce Elder has actually been decent for Atlanta over his past 4 outings. Two of them have been quality starts and another saw him work 5.0 innings with a modest 3 runs allowed. The right-hander just faced Milwaukee last week and went 6.1 innings while surrendering only 1 run on 5 hits to go along with a 7-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. The Brewers lost the last 2 contests of their recent home series against the Braves and they have dropped 4 of their last 5 overall. Orlando Arcia is 2-for-5 lifetime with a homer off Colin Rea and Matt Olson is 1-for-4 with a dinger. Although Atlanta still isn’t entirely Healthy, its lineup remains among the most dangerous in the league and now a slugger in the form of 2021 World Series MVP Jorge Soler tops the batting order. Count on Elder getting more than enough run support.

New York Mets -1.5 over Colorado Rockies (+100)

Break up the Mets! They are a solid 10-7 since the all-star break and an impressive 9-5 in their last 14 overall. It has them a mere 1.5 Games out of the #1 wild card in the National League, trailing 3 teams — including the NL East rival Braves. New York is assigning Luis Severino to take the bump on Tuesday night, which should be good news. The right-hander got roughed up a bit by Minnesota in his most recent effort, but his 3 starts prior to that one were all stellar. Colorado is countering with Kyle Freeland, who is 3-4 with a horrendous ERA (5.64) and WHIP (1.51). A whole host of guys in the New York lineup are very familiar with Freeland and have enjoyed plenty of success at his expense in the past. The Mets are simply the superior side in every way and should prevail with relative ease.

Oakland Athletics -1.5 over Chicago White Sox (+105)

There are almost no circumstances in which you can feel bad about fading the White Sox – even against Ross Stripling and the Athletics. No matter that Stripling is 2-10 with a 5.64 ERA. It really doesn’t matter who is on the mound for Oakland, although if you really care about finding a silver lining with Stripling you can do it. The A’s won his start against the Angels on July 25 and in his most recent appearance, he befuddled the Giants to the tune of 1 run on 4 hits in 5.1 innings of work. Given how bad his opposition is today, the 34-year-old righty should be able to maintain momentum. The White Sox have lost an absolutely outrageous 21 consecutive games, including 17 in a row since the all-star break. Sixteen of those 21 have come by multiple runs – including each of the last 5.
