Following an eventful Monday night on the diamond, the MLB action doesn’t slow down with a full 15-game slate on the docket today, including multiple series that have major playoff implications. With every team in action, there is plenty to attack and craft an MLB parlay. Let’s dive into today’s MLB parlay picks, as games get underway at 6:40 pm ET with the Astros taking on the Phillies and concludes with the Orioles taking on the Dodgers at 10:10 pm ET.  You can also check out all of our MLB picks for the action on Tuesday, August 27.

Diamondbacks ML (-110)

Dodgers -1.5 (+105)

Braves vs Twins Under 8 (-105)

MLB parlay odds: +664

For this MLB parlay, I am going with a bet on the Diamondbacks money line and the Dodgers run line, plus the Braves vs Twins Game to go under the total. Let’s break down each of the legs.

Arizona Diamondbacks ML over New York Mets (-110)

To start it off, I’m going with the Arizona Diamondbacks on the money line in this crucial NL showdown in the desert. These days, it’s almost shocking when the Diamondbacks actually lose. Arizona has the best record in baseball since the all-star break and I don’t see that torrid pace letting up anytime soon, especially as they head home following a successful sweep of the Boston Red Sox over the weekend. This Arizona lineup has been extremely successful at home, so I’m not  fazed by Sean Manaea getting the start for New York, even as he’s experiencing a career resurgence of sorts (3.48 ERA).

Manaea will be opposed by veteran southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez, who has allowed 3 or fewer runs in each of his 3 starts in an Arizona uniform. What’s more impressive is that Rodriguez has kept the ball in the yard in both of his past 2 outings across 10.1 innings pitched, so let’s back the veteran lefty and this Arizona lineup to stay hot at home in this one.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 over Baltimore Orioles (+105)

For the second leg of this parlay, I’m going with the Los Angeles Dodgers on the run line. The hosts will see Jack Flaherty make his 5th start overall and 3rd home start with his new team after being acquired from Detroit at the trade deadline. The veteran has looked revitalized this season, boasting one of the best strikeout and walk rates across all of baseball. He should also be given run support by a Dodgers offense that has really rounded into form over the last 10 games. While it’s not an easy task to take on this deep and talented Baltimore lineup, Flaherty is still clearly the preferred starting option in this game, especially at home.

On the other side, Cole Irvin will start for the Orioles and he’d much rather have seen this matchup played at Camden Yards. The Orioles home park is ideal for left-handed pitching, but he now is on the road against a Dodgers lineup that is surging since the return of Mookie Betts and Max Muncy. Irvin has bounced back and forth between the rotation and bullpen but with Trevor Rogers being sent down to the minor leagues (and struggling in AAA), Irvin regained his spot in the rotation for the time being. With that said, I can’t lean anywhere but with the hosts in tonight’s contest.

Atlanta Braves vs Minnesota Twins Under 8 (-105)

To close out this MLB parlay, I’m going with the under between the Minnesota Twins and Atlanta Braves. Simeon Woods-Richardson and the Twins will host Spencer SchwelleNBAch and the Braves, and both pitchers should see success in this playoff-caliber matchup. SchwelleNBAch has been rolling of late, racking up 53 strikeouts across his last 6 starts while recording 7 or more in each of those outings. The Atlanta starter has shown an ability to work deep into Games as well, posting 6 or more innings of work in 8 of his last 9 outings. The 24-year-old righty has looked poised and under control in his rookie season, and the same can be said for Woods-Richardson, despite some early worrying signs.

The Minnesota starter’s advanced metrics have improved consistently throughout the season, and his ERA is now very close to his xERA. Woods-Richardson does a good job of limiting hard contact, which is imperative against a Braves lineup that has looked much better after slumping a bit since the all-star break. Let’s back the under with confidence in Minnesota.
