The weekend in Major League Baseball wraps up with a full 15-Game slate on Sunday. It is headlined by the ESPN Game of the Week between the Red Sox and Yankees. Also on a jam-packed are Phillies at Braves, Astros at Twins and Rays at Rangers.

Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Braves -1.5 (+120)

Rangers -1.5 (+145)

Red Sox ML (+135)

MLB parlay odds: +1167

For this parlay I am going with 2 favorites on the run line and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 over Philadelphia Phillies (+120)

It’s the rubber match of a 3-Game series as Philadelphia pays a visit to Atlanta. The Braves bounced back from an opening loss to prevail 5-1 on Saturday, but they pretty much have to win on Sunday – and many more times after that – if they want to make things even remotely interesting in the NL East. Reynaldo Lopez taking the mound today certainly gives the home team a good opportunity to once again find the win column. In his first season in Atlanta the righty 6-2 with a miniscule 1.83 ERA. He has surrendered more than 2 earned runs just once this entire year and that was back on May 1 (3 against Seattle). Lopez is quite simply one of the best pitchers in baseball. Philly is countering with Michael Mercado, who has made 2 big-league appearances. Advantage: Braves.

Texas Rangers -1.5 over Tampa Bay Rays (+145)

Texas has taken the first 2 Games of this series against Tampa Bay. The Rangers have won by scores of 3-0 and 4-3, and they have every reason to feel good about their chances of continuing to silence the Rays’ bats. Nathan Eovaldi is toeing the rubber on Sunday; he comes in with a 5-3 record, 1.08 WHIP and an 80-to-26 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 80. Innings of work. The right-hander has faced Tampa Bay once this season and hurled 7.0 innings of shutout baseball that included 4 hits, 8 strikeouts and 1 walk during a 4-1 Texas victory. The Rays are 1-3 in their last 4 overall and in those 3 losses they crossed the plate only 5 times in total. Give me the Rangers to win by multiple runs.

Boston Red Sox ML over New York Yankees (+135)

Sunday Night Baseball does not get any better than Yankees vs Red Sox. It’s an especially big one this time around, too, as a New York slump has coincided with a Boston surge – which could turn the AL East into a wild 3-team race (Baltimore currently has a 2-Game lead on NY). The Sox had won 5 in a row (including the series opener in 10 innings) before losing on Saturday. Despite that victory, the Yankees are a horrendous 6-15 in their last 21 contests. Sunday starter Luis Gil is one of the culprits. New York has lost each of his past 3 starts and during this stretch the right-hander has allowed 16 earned runs in 9.2 innings. Boston’s hot bats should be able to take advantage. Rafael Devers has delivered 6 multi-hit performances in the last 10 outings, a stretch that features 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. In the same span Masataka Yoshida has hit safely 8 times with 13 hits in total. Gil and the Yankees are in trouble.
