Mikey Johnston, returning from a successful loan stint at West Brom, is back training with the first team. The training ground buzzed with activity as goalkeepers Scott Bain, Ben Siegrist, and Tobi Oluwayemi geared up for potential action in the upcoming match. A Joe Hart replacement is yet to be signed.

The training session also highlighted several young talents such as Kyle Ure, Josh Dede, and Bosun Lawal, the latter back from a loan at Fleetwood Town and tipped to be given a chance in pre-seaosn. Kyogo Furuhashi Nicolas Kuhn, Maik Nawrocki, and Timoki Iwata were also spotted getting into the groove.

Irishman Liam Scales and Matt O’Riley, fresh from his Travels in India, participated actively, indicating their readiness for the challenges ahead. Yuki Kobayashi and Odin Thiago Holm were present.

Interestingly, Hyeon-gyu Oh, who has been heavily linked with a move away, was also in attendance, adding a layer of intrigue to his ongoing transfer saga.

With a friendly against Queens Park on the horizon after the trip to Ayr followed by a high-profile pre-season tour in America, Celtic is gearing up for the new season.
