We all know that Shakira has made headlines over the last months, following her break-up with former Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique last summer, but now her cousin, Valerie Dominguez, is attracted interest too.

Who is Valerie Dominguez, Shakira’s cousin?
Valerie Dominguez Tarud, who is Shakira’s cousin on her father’s side, was the winner of the Miss Colombia contest back in 2005.
The 41-year-old celebrity is an actress, model, influencer and presenter on Colombian TV.
A year after being crowned Miss Colombia, Dominguez participated in the Miss Universe compeтιтion, where she finished 10th.
Valerie began her career on the catwalks as a model, and began working on Colombian television in the series ‘Hasta que la plata nos separe’, while her first starring role was in the soap opera ‘Los caballeros las prefieren brutas’.

She became a mom in 2021 and now enjoys every moment with little Thiago, after marrying Juan David Echeverri in 2020.
