Man City Player Looking Forward to Fulfilling Childhood Dream of Facing Celtic
Celtic take on Manchester City this evening in their fourth friendly of pre-season.
The step up in opposition from previous matches is significant for the Bhoys, but the challenge of facing an elite side is more than worthwhile.

The Hoops are looking sharper by the Game. A 1-1 draw with Ayr United was a far from encouraging start to the campaign but since then, triumphs over Queen’s Park and DC United have been positive.
City now lie in wait tonight and to the US, Pep Guardiola has brought an intriguing squad.
The City gaffer has the likes of Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish at his disposal but the majority of players that have crossed the pond are youngsters who have either been out on loan or are graduating from the club’s academy.
One of those is Callum Doyle. The 20-year-old has had loan spells at Sunderland, Coventry, and Leicester, but is now looking to make an impression on City’s first team.
In the lead-up to pre-season, the defender was asked what Game he was looking forward to the most.
“Probably Celtic”, he said (mancity.com).
“I’ve always dreamed since I was a little kid to play against Celtic.
“Since I was watching the derbies between Celtic and Rangers I feel like it’ll be a good Game, a good test and a good battle.”
Tonight’s Game will be intriguing. Celtic are much further ahead in their preparations for 2024/25 than their opponents, but one can never downplay the quality of any City side.
