Kris Boyd’s Live Sky Sports Rangers Meltdown
Kris Boyd had a very public meltdown on Sky Sports after Rangers’ latest defeat to Kilmarnock, as the former Ibrox striker struggled to come to terms with the result. Boyd looked bewildered and angry as he analysed another poor performance from his old club, all while Chris Sutton sat grinning beside him.
The 1-0 loss leaves Rangers six points adrift of both Celtic and Aberdeen, a gap that Boyd couldn’t ignore. His usual defence of the Ibrox side gave way to open frustration, as he criticised the players’ and the shape of the club.
The monster munch enthusiast didn’t hold back, expressing concern about how far Rangers are slipping behind their rivals. His tone on Sky Sports was one of disbelief, as he appeared to wrestle with the reality that Rangers are miles off the pace.
The moment perfectly captured the growing crisis at Rangers. Even one of their most loyal backers in Boyd couldn’t sugarcoat the situation, as the club continues to drift further from Celtic.
