Sunday is going to be an emotional one at Anfield, with tributes to Jurgen Klopp before and after the final Game of the season against Wolves.

Almost nine years after the German led the Reds for the first time, the curtain will fall on his very last day on Sunday afternoon.

The occasion will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK, ensuring thousands do not miss a moment of the scenes from Anfield.

This Is Anfield understands there will be a pre-match mosaic which will be in more than just the Kop – an eye-catching tribute for the manager!

The major tributes will follow after the match, though, with a stage being prepared while the players take their lap of thanks to the fans.

A guard of honour will then be given by the players for Klopp and his staff, with a stage set up on the centre circle for Jurgen to deliver his farewell speech to supporters.

The German did not give a speech in person on his farewell at Dortmund, preferring for a recorded video instead, but it is understood that this will be given by Klopp in the stadium, surrounded by his staff who are also departing the club.

There will not be a dry eye in the place!

And as has become customary for those leaving the club, Klopp will be handed a framed collage of his achievements, as per the Echo – and the same will be expected for his departing backroom staff.

In a way, it feels like no amount of tributes can truly pay homage to what Klopp has given Liverpool for close to nine years, but Anfield will certainly do its best.

His song, and various tributes to his success, will reverberate around the ground across Sunday, and this is surely the only time Klopp will accept the fans focusing on him rather than the team!

The day is coming whether we want it to or not – but how did the time fly by so fast?
