Jurgen Klopp heaps praise on 'insane' performance from Liverpool star
Jurgen Klopp has hailed Trent Alexander-Arnold's performance for Liverpool during their comeback win over West Ham United at London Stadium.
The England international once again played in his new inverted full-back role on Wednesday evening, regularly drifting into a deep-lying playmaker role (I've clearly played Football Manager before) to dictate the Reds' attacks.
That tactical decision would prove to be a masterstroke from Klopp, as TAA was able to bag an assist from this position for Cody Gakpo's first-half goal - the Reds would then go onto win the Game thanks to a Joel Matip header around the hour mark.
Speaking after the game to BT Sport, the Liverpool manager was keen to heap special praise on Alexander-Arnold, stating: "The stuff Trent [Alexander-Arnold] played – wow.
"It was absolutely insane."

Despite the win taking his team within six points of the top four, Klopp insisted they are not in the race for UEFA Champions League qualification.
He said during his post-match press conference: "I can't see the race yet, I can't. That's because we are not in the position for a race. So the only thing we can do is winning football games.
"If that puts pressure on other teams, that's not in our hands because we don't play them. We play Tottenham – that's it from that area, I think, of teams above us. If they win all their Games, that's it for us. But I don't think about that. I want us to finish the season as good as somehow possible.
"I want to take something out of the season for next year. If that is European comPetition, great. If not, we have to accept it as well and go from there. That's what I want now."
