Joe Budden Explains LeBron James’ Current Beef With Drake
Drake’s battle with Kendrick Lamar obviously emerged as the biggest story in all of Entertainment a few months ago.
But that isn’t the only beef the Canadian rapper is apart of. Apparently, he and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James are also in the midst of a tiff.
While the real reason for it hasn’t been confirmed, many believe that it has to do with James’ reaction to Kendrick Lamar’s diss songs about Drake. Moreover, many feel like LeBron’s wife, Savannah, always hated Drake and was eager to take Kendrick Lamar’s side in the beef.
This week rap podcaster Joe Budden broke down what was happening between Drake and LeBron behind the scenes.
“The passive-aggressive LeBron-Drake beef is interesting to me,” Budden said,
“It’s real. It’s happening. Savannah might just really love that shirt, and I don’t speak about people’s wives, but she might just really love that shirt, brand, and Kendrick, and ain’t paying what y’all doing no mind.”
Budden didn’t stop there, though.
“LeBron posing in the picture the way he did with her in the shirt tells me that he saw the Drake post. All the Olympians that were not LeBron, they’ve been going back and forth since this ‘Not Like Us’ sh*t. And it’s interesting to me,” he continued.
Drake and LeBron were once very close close. Will they ultimately be able to get back to that at some point in the foreseeable future? Time will tell.
