Jeopardy! raised some eyebrows by taking direct aim at newly-minted Game show host Travis Kelce.
“Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? is hosted by this man who’s maybe more famous as a BF than a 3-time Super Bowl champ,” an answer read during the Wednesday, November 6, episode.
The $200 clue was quickly answered correctly, which drew some strong responses on social media.
“Jeopardy was NASTY with travis kelce today,” one viewer posted via X. Another wrote, “Jeopardy with some Travis Kelce shade tonight.”
Travis, 35, made his debut as the host of Prime Video’s Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? last month, which features contestants relying on a classroom full of celebrities to answer questions on a range of topics pulled from elementary school curriculum in an effort to win a $100,000 prize.
Earlier this year, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, made a surprise appearance on an episode of Jeopardy! Masters. Jason, 37, read the clues from a category titled “The World Revolves Around Jason Kelce,” which included him reciting the lyrics to Salt-N-Pepa’s song “Push It,” a reference to the Philadelphia Eagles iconic Tush Push.
“I was a key part of our quarterback sneak known as the Tush Push,” Kelce said in a pre-recorded video. “So I always smile knowingly when I hear their song, ‘Ah, push it, push it good. Ah, push it, push it real good.’”
After the episode aired in May, Travis gushed about his older brother’s line delivery on their “New Heights” podcast.
“It is flawless execution,” Travis said.
Travis asked Jason if he had any input in the clues themselves — which also included one referencing his daughters Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 20 months — for his big game show cameo.
“Zero,” Jason said. “I just repeated like a parrot what the fine people at Jeopardy! told me to say. They came by and we recorded it in one afternoon. They made it very easy.”
As for Travis’ hosting gig on Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, his relationship with Swift, 34, also managed to infiltrate the show. After a contestant correctly managed to guess the stage name of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (Lady Gaga, for the record), comedian Natasha Leggero made a quick addendum on the October 23 episode.

Travis laughed and said, “I will have to agree with you on that. I do concur.”
