Inverness Release Former Celtic B Star as Administration Takes Toll

The Highland club entered administration earlier this week, with manager Duncan Ferguson leaving his post on Wednesday.
Now a free agent, Brooks faces a critical juncture in his career. At just 20, he has youth and experience on his side, making him an appealing option for clubs seeking to bolster their attacking options. His performances at Inverness demonstrated his potential, and this could attract interest from teams looking for a forward with professional experience and room to develop.
He scored 14 goals with Celtic B, 13 in the Lowland League and one in the UEFA Youth League.
For Brooks, the immediate focus will be on maintaining his fitness and staying match-ready while his representatives search for the right opportunity. It’s a pivotal time for the young forward, as finding the right fit could help him continue his development and showcase his talent on a larger stage.
There will almost certainly be a club in League 1, or around that level, who will take the forward on.
He’s got a few years of development left before he begins to reach his peak, making him a worthwhile gamble for many clubs in Scotland’s lower leagues.
