A California influencer has accused Disneyland staff of body shaming her over her outfit choice during her visit to The Happiest Place on Earth.

Singer, Twitch streamer and Only Fans star Laci Kay Somers took to social media to share the clothing that landed her in hot water by the fashion police - black leggings, a sports bra and baseball cap.

Dressed in workout gear - a popular fashion choice in 2022 - Somers twirls to show her outfit in the video captioned “what did I do tho (sic)“ along with the hashtag “bodyshaming”.

With more than 56,000 views, the viral video sparked a heated debate as many jumped to Somers’s defence.

“How dare you be an attractive person showing off her body. The nerve,” one supporter said.

“They are just jealous,” another added.

Others sided with the park rules.

“Buy a shirt, there is a dress code. Follow it or leave,” one woman said.

“Gross and totally inappropriate. Intentional state of undress with the purpose of posting this video about being victimised by Disney, very trashy,” another person said.

“Do people really only show up in a bra knowing there is a dress code and then proceed to get mad if someone tells them to leave?,” another woman said.

Somers quipped back at those telling her to cover up, saying “they see more at a beach and they don’t get mad at girls there”.

Disneyland’s dress code states “proper attire” must be worn at all times including shoes and shirts.

“We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other guests,” it says.

This includes clothing that exposes “excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment” such as mid-riff tops or Sports bras.

Clothing that drags on the ground is also prohibited along with costumes for guests aged 14 and older, and visible offensive tattoos.
