The Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Indiana Hoosiers meet Saturday in college Football action from the Rock. Here’s an Indiana vs Nebraska prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Indiana vs Nebraska pick.

Nebraska Cornhuskers Betting Preview

The Cornhuskers’ season started out with three straight wins. Those came 40-7 over UTEP, 28-10 over Colorado and 34-3 versus Northern Iowa. The Cornhuskers fell 31-24 in overtime to Illinois in Game four, but then took a 28-10 win over Purdue the next week.

Matched up against Rutgers on October 5, the Cornhuskers were up 14-0 going into the final quarter. The Knights managed a TD from there but Nebraska held on for the win 14-7. Dylan Raiola threw for 134 yards and a pick, while Dante Dowdell rushed for 57 yards and a score.

Indiana Hoosiers Betting Preview

Over on the Indiana side, they’re yet to post a blemish on the card thus far. The Hoosiers beat FIU 31-7, Western Illinois 77-3 and UCLA 42-13 in their first trio. Since then it’s been wins over Charlotte 52-14, Maryland 42-28 and Northwestern 41-24.

In the Northwestern Game, the Hoosiers went into the fourth quarter up by only a touchdown. Indiana hit a 17-7 advantage from there for the victory. QB Kurtis Rourke tossed for 380 yards and three scores. Justice Ellison carried 14 times for 68 yards and a TD of his own to lead the rush.

Indiana vs Nebraska Prediction

I’m going to lean toward Nebraska. You could argue this one either way, though. The Cornhuskers posted a gritty win over a good Rutgers team in their last outing despite a tepid 261 yards (164 passing) and 15 first downs on offense. The defense came up with two interceptions though, along with just 2-of-14 allowed on third-down tries.

As for Indiana, they’re coming off another good effort versus Northwestern. The Hoosiers racked up 529 yards (380 passing) and 27 first downs in the win. Indiana’s offense is going to have their hands full with the Cornhuskers defense here though, and I like Nebraska to eke out a cover in the end. Should be a great one to watch regardless.
