How to Take the Viral Super Power Personality Test That’s Trending on IG
Fond of personality quizzes? Here’s the all-new Super Power Personality Test that is trending all over social media. From Instagram Stories, Threads and even TikTok. this new personality test is gaining traction all over. This MBTI-inspired questionnaire comes a few months after the viral Cosmos Persona test that was appearing all over social media and is equally engaging and fun.
Unveiled in late May 2024, the Super Power Personality Test is the brainchild of multi-disciplinary designer Vicky Chen and her friend Shayne (Drew) York, both of whom are recent graduates from California State University, Long Beach. Like its predecessor, the quiz features 12 questions spread across beautifully illustrated slides in a Choose Your Own Adventure format. At the end, one is directed to a result page detailing their super power along with character traits and a list of other compatible personality types.
How to take the Super Power Personality Test that everyone’s sharing on Instagram Stories, Threads and TikTok
- Click here to take the quiz. You’ll be brought to the first page, which is titled “What is your super power?” and prompts you to “learn what powers you possess”.
- In this fictional universe, you’re greeted by a mysterious envelope. What could it be, you can’t help but wonder. A love letter from a secret admirer? An ominous note signed off as “sent from my iPhone”? Tickets to Taylor Swift’s Europe concerts? The possibilities are endless, but hopefully positive.
- The envelope talks! And addresses you as “hero”. This should be a good thing, right?
- Your new pal proceeds to take you to a mythical world, where purple skies await, unicorns are a form of transportation, and you get to bring a cat along for the ride. No spoilers here, as more surprises can be found along the way.
- The test concludes with an analysis of your super power, which can be anything from “cupid” to “dream-walking” or even “pictomancy”. Also stated are other super powers you’re compatible with, and those that are likely to be nemeses. The “cupid”, for example, is characterised as playful, empathetic and a free spirit. This personality apparently gets along with the “dream-walking” and “telepathy” types, but is incompatible with the “nine lives” and “super villain“.
According to Chen, the ending cards’ designs were inspired by the Taiwan Design Expo personality test, which went viral last year on social media. You can view the full range of results and their corresponding MBTI types on her website.
To date, at least 6,700 Instagram users have already taken the test and shared their results on Instagram Stories, and now you can become one of them. Eager to discover whether you’re a “super villain”, “super hero” or “animal whisperer”? Take the quiz here.
