How much money did Coco Gauff make for reaching the semi-finals of the 2024 French Open?

Coco Gauff’s search for a second Grand Slam title will move on to Wimbledon after she was defeated by world number one Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals of the 2024 French Open at Roland-Garros.

Swiatek’s straight sets win over Gauff

Three-time champion Swiatek raced out of the traps on Philippe-Chatrier, breaking in the very first game and again in game 5 to comfortably take the first set 6-2.

The American put up a sterner fight in the second, which stayed on serve until Game 7, when the Pole broke once again. Gauff, who was involved in a dispute with the chair umpire, saved two match points on her serve but was ultimately finished off by Swiatek, who served out with little drama for a 6-2, 6-4 victory.
