The 3-year-old lost out by a head when runner-up over 6 furlongs at this race track when last in action at the start of last month, and he steps up half-a-furlong in distance here. Jockey Frankie Pennington boasts a 22% strike rate (95/431) at this venue and he is taken to improve on that with a victory here.

2:47 pm Parx (Race 6) – It’s Game Time 11/4 (2-star play)

The 7-year-old joined the Scott Lake barn having been claimed for $25,000 after finishing 4th in a mile claimer at this track at the end of August. The Paynter gelding recorded his first on-the-board finish for his new connections when three-and-three-quarter-lengths 2nd in a similar contest over a mile here last month.

3:14 pm Parx (Race 8) – Yodel E.A. Who 10/3 (2-star play)

The Jamie Ness-trained gelding showed good form when winning by half-a-length in an allowance optional claiming race at Laurel in July. The seven-year-old’s most recent start came when two-and-a-half-lengths second in a $40,000 starter optional claiming event at Delaware Park early last month. The selection has won once and placed second 3 times at this track in the past and having impressed with a 48.15 4-furlong work here recently and he is taken to deliver a 15th career success.
