Trained by Robert Reid Jr., the colt has shown ability when finishing runner-up in 2 of his 5 previous starts. The son of Cairo Prince dropped to maiden claiming company for the first time when beaten a nose in a $16,000 maiden claimer over this course and distance earlier this month. The drop back in distance appeared to suit on that occasion. Mychel J. Sanchez is a positive jockey booking and he is taken to steer the 3-year-old to victory.  

2:01 pm Parx (Race 4) – Perfect Silent Cat 8/5 (2-star play)

The son of Tale Of The Cat joined current handler James F Noble ahead of his run in a $25,000 claiming contest at this venue last month. The selection made much of the running on that occasion prior to drawing two-and-three-quarter-lengths clear of his rivals to deliver a second career success and a first at this venue. Mychel J. Sanchez, on board that day, is again in the saddle here and the pair looks capable of completing a double. 

3:22 pm Parx (Race 7) – Broadwaycharlyrose 5/2 (2-star play)

Performed well at stakes level when beaten 2 lengths into third in a six-and-a-half-furlong contest here when making her penultimate start. The filly wore blinkers and raced on lasix on that occasion and they were retained when coming home three-and-three-quarter-lengths fifth in a 7-furlong allowance optional claimer here just under a month ago. The return to six-and-a-half-furlongs here is a positive and she can help trainer Edward J Coletti Jr improve on his 14% strike-rate (10/74) at this meeting.
