There is plenty of great Horse Racing across America on Monday, including at Parx race track. 12:40 pm ET Parx (Race 1) – Mischievous Jones 9/5 (2-star play)

The Smarty Jones gelding has finished on the board in three of his last four starts including when beaten a length when racing at this level in a seven furlong contest here at the end of March. Patricia Farro’s gelding heads into this event on the back of a 49.31 four furlong work here on 28th April. A wide draw isn’t ideal here but dropping in trip the four-year-old looks capable of registering his third career success.

3:26 pm ET Parx (Race 7) – Scintillating Star 2/1 (2-star play)

The four-year-old filly impressed when delivering a five-and-a-half-length victory in a $12,500 claiming contest over six furlongs here in February. She joined the Richard Vega barn following that contest and performed well when runner-up over this track and trip prior to a fourth when unable to dominate over the same distance here last month. The daughter of Mineshaft has drawn the rail here and regular pilot Andy Hernandez is expected to deliver an all the way win on the filly.

4:20 pm ET Parx (Race 9) – Et’s Moon Maiden 5/2 (2-star play)

The selection has finished on the board in each of her last three starts including when beaten a length by a subsequent winner in finishing second in a six-and-a-half-furlong $25,000 starter optional claiming contest here last month. The four-year-old is a versatile type with regards to tactions and with Jeremy Laprida, on board last time out again in the saddle the daughter of Emperor Tiberius is selected to register her first victory since taking an allowance here last September.
