1:34 pm Kentucky Downs (Race 3) – Outadore 9/5 (2-star play)

The five-year-old has shown good form so far this year including when following up with a stakes second over six furlongs on the synthetic track at Turfway Park in January with a victory in an allowance optional claimer over the same track and trip the following month. Given a break following that success the pick delivered a fifth over six furlongs at Woodbine in July and take this returning to turf having shown good form here in the past.

Trained by Brendan Walsh the filly performed well when registering a neck victory in a maiden special weight over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Ellis Park in June. The daughter of Medaglia d’Oro followed that triumph up with a runner-up finish in a mile allowance at the same venue early last month. While the selection faded when eighth over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Ellis Park 27th August that effort did come in stakes company. Taken to deliver a victory back in an allowance.

4:54 pm Kentucky Downs (Race 9) – Song of Norway 4/1 (1-star play)

The daughter of Flatter was purchased for $130,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Summer Sale as a yearling in 2022. Trained by Wesley Ward the filly made the perfect start to her racing career when delivering a four-and-a-quarter-length victory in a five-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight at Ellis Park at the start of last month. The pick has showed up well in the mornings since and looks up to delivering a stakes victory with John Velazquez riding for the first time.
