The Atlanta Hawks travel to the Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks are slowly starting to turn things around as they’ve won three of their past four games and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the Kings in a 109-108 road win on Monday. De’Andre Hunter led the team with 24 points on nine of 15 shooting off the bench, Zaccharie Risacher added 18 points, Clint Capela scored 14 points with 14 rebounds while Trae Young chipped in with seven points and 19 assists. As a team, the Hawks shot 47 percent from the field and 16 of 38 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in a bit of trouble when they squandered a 16-point lead to trail by 11 points in the third quarter, but they stayed within striking distance and made their move in the fourth quarter where they restricted the Kings to just 15 points to escape with the narrow win.
Golden State Warriors
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in great form as they’ve won 10 of their first 13 games but they are looking to bounce back in this one after having their three-game win streak halted by the Clippers in a 102-99 road defeat on Monday. Stephen Curry led the team with 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists, Andrew Wiggins added 22 points while Jonathan Kuminga chipped in with 12 points off the bench but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Warriors shot 44 percent from the field and 16 of 44 from the 3-point line as they played great defense to hold the Clippers to just 19 points in the third quarter to erase a 15-point deficit, only to come up short in the fourth quarter.
Atlanta v Golden State free prediction
The Hawks are still shorthanded with Cody Zeller still out and Jalen Johnson listed as questionable, while the Warriors have listed Kyle Anderson as questionable, but they have Stephen Curry listed as probable. The Hawks are coming into this game with some momentum after taking down a decent Kings team in a solid win on Monday, while the Warriors have won 10 of 12 before they lost a close one to the Clippers in their last game. The line is high enough for me to consider the Hawks, but the Warriors have won their last four home games and I think they keep that streak going with a comfortable win here.

Peter Tran's Free Pick: Golden State -8.5
