Liverpool players are popular FPL targets right now with Burnley at home followed by a Double Gameweek 25.
Reds stars come with risk attached, however, as they have a Blank Gameweek 26 due to their participation in the Carabao Cup final. So who are the best buys?
After conferring with Fantasy Football Hub's powerful AI Points Predictions tool, here are the best Liverpool assets to target for FPL Gameweek 24.
Diogo Jota
- Predicted Points: 5.4
Diogo Jota has been the form man in recent weeks, delivering six attacking returns in the last four gameweeks: three goals and three assists. He has completed 90 minutes in two of Liverpool's last three games as he continues to build up fitness following injury.
Jota has made five shots and six key passes in the last four Gameweeks and has enjoyed this fixture in the past, scoring from the bench in the 2-0 win at Turf Moor on Boxing Day.
Darwin Nunez
- Predicted Points: 5.2
Darwin Nunez is the most owned attacker from Liverpool with a chance of high minutes for this weekend, having produced two goals and two assists in the last four gameweeks. He was benched against Arsenal after picking up a knock in the midweek win against Chelsea.
His underlying numbers have been incredible, topping the charts for both shots (23) and big chances (eight) in the last four Gameweeks. He is also on penalties while Mohamed Salah is absent, with the Egyptian still recovering from the hamstring injury he suffered at AFCON.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
- Predicted Points: 4.9
Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the most attacking defenders in the Game, with six goal involvements this season: two goals and four assists. The majority of those returns came in December during a spell which saw him play the inverted wing-back role.
That opportunity came with Alexis Mac Allister missing a period through injury, but he's since returned which has seen Trent shift back to a more traditional full-back role. He's played just 79 minutes in the last three gameweeks since returning from injury.
