Fortnite Festival, with its unique blend of gaming and music, has quickly become a global sensation, captivating the attention of Gamers of all ages. Launched in December 2023, the innovative rhythm-based Game is already two seasons old and fans would be stoked to know that Fortnite Festival season 3 is on its way. 

While the previous two seasons featured The Weeknd and Lady Gaga, Fortnite Festival season 3 will feature another talented artist – Grammy and Oscar-winner Billie Eilish.

As season 2 almost nears its end, Fortnite fans are eager to know when season 3 will kick-start, what will its theme be, and what exciting new content will it introduce.

So on that note, here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Festival season 3, including its release date, the new skins, theme and more.

There was speculation that Billie Eilish would be the featured artist due to the similarity between her neon green roots and the colour seen during the in-Game announcement. This fan theory was confirmed when Eilish herself posted on X that she would be headlining the next Fortnite Festival season. The ‘What Was I Made For?’ singer shared an image of her in-Game skin on X with the caption “Fortnite Festival Main Stage: 4.23.24.”

While no additional information has been provided about Eilish’s main stage event, it is expected that her songs will be playable in the Fortnite Festival mode and that her neon green skin will be available in the Fortnite shop.

Additionally, based on speculation within the gaming community, Eilish’s hits such as ‘Happier Than Ever’, ‘Ocean Eyes’, ‘Everything I Wanted’, ‘Lovely’ and ‘Bellyache’, amongst others, could be added to the Fortnite Festival season 3 song list. While some could be listed in the Fortnite Shop, others could be exclusive to the season 3 pass.

When does ‘Fortnite Festival’ season 3 release?

The release date for season 3 has been confirmed as 23 April 2024, 8 am CT (9 am MYT). This will be immediately after season 2 ends on April 22. 

Although there is currently no official information regarding what one could expect from the new season, it is anticipated that season 3 will last for approximately three months, similar to the duration of the previous two seasons.

Once you are in the Lobby of a Fortnite Festival event (either ‘Main Stage’ or ‘Jam Stage’), go to the Festival Pass option in the top menu. Here, you can access the season 3 Festival Pass and check out the Festival Quests.

For the uninitiated, Fortnite Festival is a rhythm-based Gameplay experience created by Rock Band studio Harmonix, which is integrated into the larger Fortnite universe.
