Tottenham ML over Everton (-240), 10:00 am ET, Saturday
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has been trying to sell the club for a long time and fans of the Merseyside team have been growing increasingly frustrated with off-field affairs. Everton’s finances may not be in great shape and their on-pitch efforts have been unimpressive too.
A 3-0 home defeat to Brighton on the opening day was a miserable start to the new campaign and Everton look extremely vulnerable for their trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Expect Spurs to attack from the off and quickly find a way through the Toffees’ brittle defense.
Manchester City ML over Ipswich (-1200), 10:00 am ET, Saturday
Ipswich Town supporters know that this season is likely going to be one of struggle, where they get rare moments of joy in the toughest league in the world. They earned promotion from the Championship last term, but do not have the finances to bolster a thin squad. Away to Manchester City is the toughest fixture on the calendar, so Ipswich will Travel more in hope than expectation of getting anything from the Game. City brushed aside Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last Sunday and overcoming much weaker opposition at the Etihad Stadium should be a formality.

Chelsea ML over Wolves (-135), 9:00 am ET, Sunday
It was too early in the season for Chelsea’s expensively assembled squad to trouble the champions in their opening EPL fixture, but the Blues are bristling with talent and should gel soon enough.
The fact that Chelsea were able to poach Pedro Neto from Wolves for £54 million earlier this month speaks volumes about the gulf in class between the mega-bucks Londoners and their hosts on Sunday. With quality all over the pitch, expect Chelsea to grind down Wolves at Molineux.
Liverpool ML over Brentford (-440), 11:30 am ET, Sunday
The Jurgen Klopp era is over at Anfield, but Arne Slot’s reign started with a comfortable success at Ipswich on the opening day, and another straightforward assignment appears in front of the Reds on Sunday.
Brentford come to Liverpool knowing that their star striker, Ivan Toney, is being linked with a move to Manchester United or various other suitors. Bees boss Thomas Frank has left Toney out of his squad for the trip to Anfield, so the visitors could be toothless up front. Liverpool and their ever-enthusiastic home crowd will expect a straightforward success over Brentford.
