It has to be said, those are the type of fantasy numbers I need to see from a player that I select for the captain position for a Draftkings NFL Showdown contest.

Now that we have determined how Alvin Kamara played last season, let’s shift our focus to the 2024 NFL regular season. Last week, in the New Orleans Saints dominating 47-10 win over the Carolina Panthers, Saints running back Alvin Kamara accumulated 83 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, five receptions, and 27 receiving yards. What did we learn? The data just presented tells us that Alvin Kamara is playing outstanding Football entering this week’s matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

In my opinion, Alvin Kamara is the most likely player to post the most Draftkings points in this NFL contest. For that specific reason, I am backing New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara at the captain position for this one Game NFL DFS Showdown slate.

Last week, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cee Dee Lamb was a key contributor to the team’s offensive success which resulted in the team’s first win of the 2024 NFL regular season. Let me be more specific. In the Dallas Cowboys 33-17 win over the Cleveland Browns just noted, Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was targeted by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott a massive ten times. In those ten targets, Lamb tallied five receptions, 61 receiving yards, and added 27 rushing yards.
