Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott was the driving force behind the Dallas Cowboys success on the offensive side of the Football in the 2023 NFL regular season. Having stated that, how did Prescott perform from a statistical perspective? Let’s review Dak Prescott’s relevant player data from the 2023 NFL regular season to answer that question.

In the 17 games that quarterback Dak Prescott played for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2023 NFL regular season, Prescott tallied an impressive 4,516 passing yards, 36 passing touchdowns, 242 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns.

Now that we have determined how quarterback Dak Prescott played last season, let’s shift our focus to the 2024 NFL regular season. In the three games that Prescott has played for the Dallas Cowboys this season, Prescott has accumulated 851 passing yards and four passing touchdowns.

Historically, Dak Prescott has performed exceptionally well when facing the New York Giants. More specifically, Dak Prescott has led the Dallas Cowboys to 12 consecutive wins over the Giants. I fully expect Dak Prescott to continue his outstanding play in New York tomorrow night.

Devin Singletary, Running Back, New York Giants $8,200

In the New York Giants 21-15 win over the Cleveland Browns three days ago, Giants running back Devin Singletary tallied 65 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, four receptions, and 43 receiving yards.

Looking closer at the data just presented, in the Giants victory over the Browns just mentioned, Devin Singletary compiled an impressive 19.8 Draftkings points.

I certainly like Singletary from a general matchup perspective. Why? The Cowboys have had issues containing opposing running backs this season. Through three Games played in the 2024 NFL regular season, the Dallas Cowboys are ranked a dreadful 32nd in total Draftkings points allowed a Game (34.4) to opposing running backs. Keep in mind that the NFL has 32 teams in the entire league. Clearly, being ranked 32nd in an any defensive category is not good.

CeeDee Lamb, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys $11,800

Two weeks ago, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cee Dee Lamb was a key contributor to the team’s offensive success which resulted in the team’s first win of the 2024 NFL regular season. In the Dallas Cowboys 33-17 win over the Cleveland Browns just noted, Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was targeted by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott a massive ten times. In those ten targets, Lamb tallied five receptions, 61 receiving yards, and added 27 rushing yards.
