In the four games that Jayden Daniels has played for the Washington Commanders in the 2024 NFL regular season, Daniels compiled 897 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, 218 rushing yards, and added three rushing touchdowns.

Three weeks ago, in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders, Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels tallied 184 passing yards, 88 rushing yards, and added two rushing touchdowns.

Looking closer at the data just presented, in the Commanders loss to the Buccaneers just noted, Daniels accumulated a whopping 28.2 Draftkings points.

As I noted in the rules section above, selecting the correct player at the captain position for a Draftkings NFL showdown lineup is absolutely vital if you hope to win a large field GPP (guaranteed prize pool) DFS contest. Talented Cleveland wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has certainly been a key contributor to the Browns offense in 2024. In the four Games that Jerry Jeudy has played for the Cleveland Browns in the 2024 NFL regular season, Cleveland quarterback Deshaun Watson has targeted Jeudy a robust 30 times. In those 30 targets just mentioned, Jeudy has compiled 18 receptions, 197 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown.

Additionally, I like Jerry Jeudy from a matchup perspective. Why? The Washington CoMMAnders have had issues containing opposing wide receivers this season. Through four Games played in the 2024 NFL regular season, the Washington CoMMAnders are ranked a dreadful 32nd in total Draftkings points allowed to opposing wide receivers a Game (42.4). Keep in mind that the NFL has 32 teams in the entire league. Clearly, being ranked 32nd in any defensive category is not good.

I fully expect Jerry Jeudy to continue his outstanding play versus a vulnerable Washington Commanders secondary on Sunday afternoon.
