Draftkings Lineup Advice
August 29, 2024 9:00 pm EDT

Thursday is a solid DraftKings college Football slate with nine Games on the main card. Let’s breakdown some players at each position that make a whole lot of sense to put in your lineup and make these college Football DFS picks a winning one.

Quarterback

Jalon Daniels ($9500)

If you are deciding which quarterback to pay up for, the answer is Kansas Jayhawks star Jalon Daniels. The Kansas coaching staff has made it clear they are going to try to pour it on this Game. Daniels is going to have no issue against the Lindenwood Lions, and Daniels is going to have a huge Game

Seth Morgan ($5300)

If you are looking for a cheap, low-owned quarterback, New Hampshire Wildcats quarterback Seth Morgan makes a lot of sense. New Hampshire isn’t going to keep this Game close, but you don’t need to keep the Game close to find success. The UCF Knights defense is going to give up some points, and you are only going to need Morgan to find the end zone once to make value. Morgan makes sense, especially in GPP lineups.

Running Back

Darius Taylor ($6700)

Minnesota Golden Gophers running back Darius Taylor needs to be monitored because he’s dealing with a hamstring, so make sure he’s playing before you put him in your lineup. The weather in Minneapolis is expected to be wet, and PJ Fleck’s squad is historically a run first team. North Carolina’s defense gave up 159.2 yards per Game on the ground, and Taylor is going to be running wild. Taylor should get well over value, even if he doesn’t find the end zone.

Jamar Curtis ($4,700)

Jamar Curtis is going to have a huge game for the Lafayette Leopards against the Buffalo Bulls. Curtis was a bell cow running game last year for Lafayette. He is going to be working behind a solid offensive line, here and he should get as many carries as he likes. Curtis is going to be blown past value here. Don’t forget this Buffalo Bulls defense isn’t exactly elite, either.

Wide Receiver

Le’Meke Brockington ($4500)

Minnesota wide receiver Le’Meke Brockington is mostly a  GPP play because of the rain issues, but if the Gophers do sling the rock, Brockington could crush value. Brockington has had a couple of long touchdown passes during his career, and Minnesota’s star wide receiver, Daniel Jackson, is questionable. Let’s fade North Carolina’s defense and get Brockington in the lineup..

Jared Casey ($3700)

If you are playing Daniels at quarterback, you are going to need to look at other places to save money, and putting in Jared Casey at tight end will do that. Casey is a bit dependent on the touchdown, but Daniels loves to look for him in the red zone. With Kansas expected to score plenty, Casey is a great option.
